With a background in Interior Design, creative direction and running my own business, I bring a mix of creative thinking, commercial awareness and a natural, story-led approach to content.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Designer by background. Creator by curiosity.
I'm Charlotte — a creative director, interior designer, business owner and mum of two, figuring out what the next chapter looks like.
For the past 12 years, I've worked across retail, hospitality, food and beverage, and experiential design. Six years ago, I took the leap and started my own design business, ROOTED, working with brands to turn ideas into thoughtful, commercially driven spaces.
Alongside design, I've always been interested in the way brands communicate, how we discover products and the little details that make something stand out.
Now, I'm bringing that creative experience into content creation through The Everyday Edit. A space where design, business, family life and the everyday in-between all come together.
I'm particularly drawn to brands that make life easier, solve a genuine problem or bring a little more thoughtfulness to the everyday. That might be a piece of software that simplifies running a business, a creative tool that helps bring an idea to life, or a product that earns its place in our family routine.
My approach is simple: create content that feels natural, looks considered and gives people a reason to care.

Years of experience in interior design and creative direction have taught me how to think about composition, colour, detail and visual storytelling.

I'm a working mum of two, building a business and navigating the juggle of work and family life. I create from real experience, making content that feels relatable rather than overly polished or scripted.

I'm particularly interested in software, apps and tools that make everyday work easier. I enjoy taking something that might feel complicated and turning it into content that feels simple, useful and approachable.
