Founded in London by Charlotte, ROOTED was created around a simple idea:

good design should look great, but it also needs to work.

We work with ambitious brands to create physical spaces that are distinctive, commercially considered and rooted in what the business actually needs.

From a small kiosk to a full retail environment, we bring together creative thinking, interior design, branding and technical expertise to take projects from an initial idea through to delivery.

Budgets, landlords, timelines, operations, materials and buildability all matter.
We don't design in a bubble.
It's often the smaller things that make a space feel considered. The material transition. The lighting. The signage. The way someone approaches the counter.

Charlotte

Founder + Creative Director

Charlotte founded ROOTED in 2020 after more than a decade working across retail, hospitality and experiential design.

Her background spans agency, brand and commercial interior design, giving her a practical understanding of both the creative and commercial sides of a project.

She's particularly interested in the point where brand meets physical space. Creating environments that feel distinctive without losing sight of how they actually need to work.

Prince

Managing Director

Prince leads the commercial and operational side of ROOTED, working across business development, client relationships and project strategy.

Alison

ROOTED works with a trusted network of designers, visualisers, technical specialists and creative partners, allowing us to build the right team around each project.
